Knowledge, memory and skills

The team remembers what it learns from each project, learns from QA's notes, and reads the documents you give it as skills.

Knowledge

The Knowledge page holds what the team knows about your business:

  • Findings from projects: facts, figures and decisions, with their sources.
  • Project summaries: what was learned and what was decided.
  • Search across everything the team knows. The CEO uses it too when answering your questions.

Memory and lessons

  • Lessons per role. QA's notes are kept as lessons for that specialist role, so the next specialist in the same role does not repeat the mistake.
  • Agent memory. Each agent keeps notes that matter from its conversations with you.
  • Memory upkeep. The team finds notes that are outdated, duplicated or contradictory and prepares fixes. In Settings → Automation you pick the level: only tell you, prepare proposals for you to decide, or apply low-risk changes automatically, with undo.

Skills from documentation

Teach an agent from sources you trust:

  1. Open the agent's profile, Skills tab.
  2. Paste one URL, or tick Crawl the whole docs section to read a whole section of a documentation site (10–100 pages).
  3. When reading is done, the skill waits for your review under Pending review. Approve it and the agent can use it.

The pages behind a skill are read again when they have not been checked for a while, so the skill keeps up with the documentation. Pages used as a skill also count as sources read, so they can be cited in reports.

Filling knowledge gaps

When the team keeps missing the same thing, AgentWork can research it and draft a new skill from trusted sources, the domains and organisations you list in Settings → Automation. As with memory upkeep, you choose whether the result is only proposed or used right away when it passes every check.
