Virtual office
AgentWork's home page is an office floor. Every department lead has a room of its own, and its robot shows what is happening.
One floor, one room per lead
The Office shows a room for the CEO, each of the five department leads and QA. Each room holds its lead's robot, with the lead's specialists as chips below. A room takes the state of whoever in that department is doing the most pressing thing.
Five poses
| Pose | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Idle | No work running. |
| Working | Doing a task or using a tool, such as searching or reading sources. |
| Thinking | Planning, queued or waiting for review. |
| Needs you | A question or decision is waiting for you. The room turns amber. |
| Done | Work was just approved or a report was just delivered. |
When work moves, for instance handed to another department, approved or sent back for revision, a line is drawn across the floor between the rooms.
What you can do in the Office
- Click a robot to open its panel: what it is working on, its team, and a button to chat with it.
- Answer in place. Questions waiting for you can be answered right from the room.
- Talk to CEO opens the chat with the CEO.
- Find an agent with /, see all running projects, or open the list of the whole team.
The repair bay
Agents that run out of model quota, fail repeatedly or are under maintenance move to the repair bay, with the reason shown. Once the problem clears, such as a subscription quota resetting or a model connection being fixed, the agent returns to its room.
The Office works on large screens and phones alike, and it updates live without reloading the page.
